Always ready for a challenge, staff from Ansons Solicitors in Cannock and Lichfield will be running in not one, but three marathons across the UK this year.

The first event is the Blackpool Marathon on 6 April where Amanda Edwards, chartered legal executive in the residential property department at Ansons, will be breaking in her running shoes. This will be Amanda’s first marathon and she will no doubt be kept on her toes by her running partners; her husband and her mother-in- law!

The second event is the London Marathon, which takes place on 13 April this year. Representing the firm will be wills and probate partner and experienced marathoner, Marie Tisdale. Marie can often be seen pounding the streets of Lichfield as a member of Lichfield Running Club. Ansons Solicitors have been proud sponsors for the past four years of the annual Lichfield 10k road race organised by the club. This will be Marie’s third London marathon and she is fundraising for local charity ‘We are making a difference’ which supports many local causes and in particular, children with disabilities.

Limbering up for the third event, the Edinburgh Marathon on 24 May, will be Siobhan Arms who is a legal clerk in the Ansons family law department. Siobhan is another first-time marathoner but keen to get off the starting block and get her running stripes in action.
