Simon James appointed clerk to two Lichfield charities

20th October 2014

Simon James, senior partner and charity law specialist at Ansons Solicitors, has recently been made clerk to not one, but two local charities.

The first, Michael Lowe’s and Associated Charities, helps people in need within Lichfield; particularly the elderly and those requiring help in an emergency. The second is Swinfen Broun Charitable Trust, who help individuals and organisations within the city to get grants. Their work assists in the provision and maintenance of many local facilities such as playing fields, public halls and gardens.

Simon already works with numerous charities, including his role as Chairman of Trustees of St Giles Hospice, Whittington. He is delighted to be welcomed as clerk to these two additional charities, who provide much needed support and assistance in the area.

Simon has extensive legal expertise in charity law, covering everything from management and administration, governance and real estate acquisitions and disposals.
