Robin Heslop has practised law in Lichfield for over 50 years, having formerly been the Senior Partner at a Lichfield based firm. Robin has recently accepted an invitation to join Ansons as a Consultant to assist the Dispute Resolution and the Wills, Probate and Trusts departments. Robin has an excellent reputation both locally and nationally, and is well known for being friendly and approachable.
Robin’s principal specialism for much of his career has been Litigation and Dispute Resolution. His expertise has attracted clients from many parts of the country, and he has demonstrated throughout his career that the skills of a good litigator can be applied to a wide range of disputes.
Robin’s key objective has always been to secure a resolution for clients without the need for court action. However, when it was necessary to do so, he has handled court proceedings at all levels in many areas including Commercial disputes, Construction, Personal Injury, Professional Negligence, Intellectual Property and Contentious Probate.
Robin remains on hand to offer advice on most contentious matters.
More recently, Robin has drawn on his experience to develop a practice in Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, in particular to help clients to organise their affairs so as to avoid any risk of conflict and dispute.
Robin has a wealth of experience both in Contentious and Private Client work from over 50 years worth of practice.
Robin plays tennis three times a week, and enjoys walking, gardening, reading and family time.
