Nearly three quarters of all adults do not have a valid will according to research by the Law Society. Often because they “simply have not got around to it”.

Ansons Solicitors, in Lichfield, is encouraging adults of all ages to ‘pop in before you pop off’ to ensure you have a valid will drawn up.

On Saturday 28 March, Ansons Solicitors are opening up their Lichfield office from 9.00am to 3.00pm and offering people the opportunity to walk away with a simple will for just £20.

This a great opportunity for anyone who has not yet got around to making a will. Setting out your wishes is important, and it does not have to be time consuming. That is why the wills and probate team, headed by Marie Tisdale, will be on hand to help you create a simple will that sets out how your estate and assets are distributed – swiftly but properly.

All proceeds from the day will go to Shropshire and Staffordshire Blood Bikes, a volunteer organisation that provides emergency transportation of medical supplies. Another great reason to pop in, meet the team and walk away with a will that secures your future and your loved ones.

Shropshire and Staffordshire Blood Bikes began in January 2014 with just 10 people and a modest aim to fund two bikes by their first year. Since then, they have made over 500 journeys with the assistance of eight liveried bikes and now have 100 volunteers running three services across the region. This has only been made possible by the generous support of donors and the fundraising public.

Do not worry if you you need a more complex will. Your solicitor will give you a quote on the day and arrange for you to come back and see them.
