Ansons Solicitors are delighted to announce it is the official Match Sponsor of Oxford United’s playoff semi-final 2^nd leg against Portsmouth, to be held next Monday 6th July 2020.

The U’s secured a 4^th place finish in EFL League One, and will be looking to book a place in the Playoff Final and a chance of promotion to the EFL Championship.

The match will be broadcast on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football from 16:30pm, and we wish the team all the very best of luck for the game.

The sponsorship is the latest in Ansons’ increasing presence in the Sports Law sector.

Jacob is assisted by David Anderton, O.B.E who provides expert advice in the fields of planning law, environmental law and licensing.  He captained the English Chess Team, 1972 – 1990 and under his guidance, it secured three silver and two bronze medals at the Chess Olympiad.  David was awarded an OBE in 1976 for his services to chess.
