Our latest qualifier, Genevieve Stevenson from our corporate and commercial law team, shares her experience of our rigorous trainee solicitor programme.

‘I have really enjoyed my training contract at Ansons. The firm has been really supportive and fee earners of all levels are on hand to provide regular supervision and feedback to ensure that trainees develop essential skills, while allowing us to take on responsibilities in relation to lots of different matters. Our interests and preferred areas of law have been listened to and taken into account by training principals which has left me well equipped to decide which area of law to practice in my future career,’ says Genevieve.

As a newly qualified solicitor in our corporate and commercial law team, Genevieve advises on buying, selling and expanding companies and businesses, as well as negotiating commercial contracts on behalf of clients across Staffordshire, the West Midlands and the UK.

Thanks to our training programme, Genevieve has already been cutting her teeth on a wide variety of cases, including helping to draft documents and carry out investigations into the target company in a £7m share purchase for one of our clients.
