Confront dementia for Dementia Awareness Week

17th May 2016

This Dementia Awareness Week, the Alzheimer’s Society is encouraging anyone who is worried about dementia to address their concerns by confronting dementia with their help.

Throughout Dementia Awareness Week, from 15 to 21 May, we will be supporting the Alzheimer’s Society by helping to raise awareness.  Marie Tisdale, director of wills and probate at Ansons Solicitors in Lichfield and Cannock, looks at some key facts about dementia which outline why everyone should start planning ahead for the future in five reasons to make a lasting power of attorney.

Follow us on Twitter to keep up-to-date with what we are doing throughout Dementia Awareness Week. You can also use the hashtag #DAW2016 to get involved and show your support yourself. If you wish to learn more about dementia, or Dementia Awareness Week, visit the Alzheimer’s Society website.
