As keen supporters of the arts, Ansons Solicitors are proudly sponsoring the finale concert of this year’s Lichfield Festival by The Philharmonia Orchestra at Lichfield Cathedral on Saturday 13th July. The Philharmonia returns to Lichfield for the first time since 2008 under the baton of Christopher Warren. The performance will include excerpts from Sibelius’ Finlandia, Elgar’s Cello concerto in E Minor and Beethoven’s ninth symphony.

The orchestra will be joined by cellist Philip Higham, soprano Jennifer Rust, mezzo Heather Lowe, tenor Robert Gardiner, bass Thomas Hopkinson and the Lichfield festival chorus.
