The commercial property team at Ansons solicitors in Staffordshire are celebrating the success of their recent networking breakfast and property update with Women in Property, which was well attended by women (and gentlemen) in the property industry in the local area.

Jagdip Bains from the dispute resolution team together with Emma Wells and Laura Pyatt from the commercial property team were joined by Janet Hodson from JVH Town Planning Consultants to speak on the latest issues facing the property industry.

Of particular interest was information on the recent Stamp Duty Land Tax changes with the introduction, from April 2016, of a supplemental three per cent rate on the purchase of additional residential property. This topic generated a great deal of discussion in the room. Attendees were able to call on the expertise of Ansons Solicitors commercial property lawyers as well as other professionals to answer any questions.
