Ansons Solicitors thank you for a fantastic turnout at 2015 Lichfield 10k

17th September 2015

It was another successful year for the Lichfield 10k, which took place last weekend on Sunday 13 September. Ansons Solicitors were delighted to be once again the main sponsors of the annual highlight in the Staffordshire running calendar, which celebrated its 20th birthday this year.

A total of 1,075 people eagerly turned up at King Edward VI Leisure Centre in Lichfield for the 10k run, which is organised to suit runners of all abilities. There were also 350 people who took part in the family fun run aimed at younger runners, where finishers were awarded with a commemorative medal. This year all participants also received a free digital download of their race photos.

As ever, Ansons entered their very own team of runners for the 10k and the fun run, who ran in aid of various local causes including Saxon Hill School, the Canal Trust, the Staffordshire Police Benevolent Fund and St Giles Hospice.

Marie Tisdale, a keen runner as well as a partner and head of the wills and probate department at Ansons, was delighted at the success of the event.

“There was a fantastic turnout this year and I would really like to thank everyone involved, including the marshals and all the runners. Whilst there was a fair degree of trepidation at the beginning, I do believe everyone enjoyed participating by the end!”

The Ansons team are already looking forward to next year’s race and raising even more for such great local causes. For more information visit:
