West Midlands and Staffordshire-based law firm, Ansons Solicitors, is once again taking to the track with a team of intrepid fundraisers for the Royal Sutton Fun Run.
Starting and finishing in Sutton Coldfield Town Centre, the “8.5 miles of smiles” (13.7km) will take participants on a picturesque route through Four Oaks and Sutton Park, Europe’s largest urban park.
On 2 June 2024, the Ansons team will be put through its paces to raise vital funds for Kids’ Village, a Lichfield-based charity recently set up to provide very special support to critically ill children and young people.
It aims to build the UK’s first purpose-built holiday village for children up to 18 years of age with a life-limiting illness.
Once built, the village will allow the charity to provide free getaways for children and their families as a unique form of respite from hospital stays.
“We’re all incredibly excited to be supporting this fantastic charity,” said Martin Jackson, Director at Ansons Solicitors.
“The services it is aiming to provide are so important to families in the worst of circumstances. Going beyond practical support and respite, Kids’ Village will be able to help seriously ill children be children and have fun!
“Thank you to everyone in the team who has volunteered to run or come down and support us on the day.
“It’s time for us to get to training and raise as much as we can for this fantastic organisation.”
