Ansons Solicitors has helped play a pivotal role in the successful completion of a significant £21 million investment for Smethwick-based Metpro Limited, a supplier to the mechanical and electrical trade.

A specialist manufacturer and distributor of cable management and ancillary products, this transaction represents a significant step in Metpro’s history.

Established in 1995, Metpro has secured £13 million from BGF (Business Growth Fund) and £8.5 million from NatWest, with additional capital from existing shareholders.

This investment will bolster Metpro’s product innovation and address the growing customer demand in European wholesale and OEM markets.

Ansons acted for both the management team and, in relation to the new banking facilities, the entire group.

Ansons’ multi-disciplinary team was led by Dudley-based corporate consultant solicitor, Paul Bennett and included Cristine Schneider, Neil Jones and Lucy Davies, with employment and property support provided by Jason Alcock and Alex-Jayne Lowe respectively.
