Ansons named top firm in Chambers and Partners 2016

6th November 2015

Three of our practice areas have been recognised for excellence and ranked in the Chambers and Partners directory 2016. We have been ranked in the first tier for agriculture and rural affairs, and fourth for both corporate/M&A and real estate. Partners Hilary D’Cruz, head of corporate and commercial law, and Simon James, head of commercial property, have also been ranked as leading individuals in their fields.

The agriculture team has been rewarded for their strength in diversification project and environmental issues by being ranked in the first tier. Clients are quoted as saying ‘The firm has integrity, pragmatism and a good grasp of client requirements’ and ‘They give straightforward and very practical advice’.

Our corporate team has been described as ‘a strong practice in the healthcare sector, particularly on transactions involving pharmacies’. Clients have commented ‘They always give me good commercial advice on how best to proceed.’ Hilary D’Cruz, ranked in the third band for individuals, ‘impresses both her peers and her clients’. One interviewee says she is ‘very approachable and practical’, another adding “She is extremely capable and I would rate her very highly.’

One client of our real estate team are quoted as saying ‘They offer pragmatic and timely advice. They see through the instructions they receive to best serve their client.’ Simon James is described as a key contact and is ranked in the second tier for his ‘good strategic advice’, his clients also valuing his ‘wealth of experience’.

Congratulations to all the team at Ansons Solicitors. It is a testament to everyone’s hard work and dedication that we have featured strongly in the rankings.
