Ansons leads HS2 seminar on 25 November 2015

5th November 2015

Ansons Solicitors will be hosting a special HS2 advice seminar for landowners, developers, property professionals and business owners on Wednesday 25 November 2015.

As the reality of HS2 grows ever closer to Staffordshire, the need for clarity and advice on the high speed railway increases – both for landowners and professionals in property and business.

In response to increasing requests for advice and assistance the Ansons commercial property team will be holding a seminar from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm on Wednesday 25 November 2015 at Whittington Heath Golf Club to provide an update on the HS2 scheme and explain what it means for property owners in the area, local communities and businesses.

Mr Hugh Richards of No 5 Chambers, an acknowledged leading barrister specialising in planning, environmental, infrastructure and enforcement will be a key speaker at the event along with Neil Faunch of the Ansons commercial property team. Other members of the Ansons commercial property and rural and agricultural law teams will also be available for informal discussions after the main presentation.

Key points to be covered include:

  • HS2 – where are we now?
  • implications for landowners and developers with planning schemes affected by the route;
  • what does it mean for businesses not just landowners? and
  • what should you be doing next?

This is an excellent chance to learn more about the impact of HS2 on you, your business and for those with clients who may be affected.
