The West Midlands firm is taking its expertise on the road to London’s Wellcome Collection on Sunday 19 November 2023, to host a seminar on preparing a pharmacy business for sale. Held in collaboration with pharmacy sales specialist, Hutchings, the seminar is now open for registration.
The half-day event aims to demonstrate how business owners can best prepare their business for sale, including how to maximise the value of a pharmacy or chain of pharmacies, and the sales process.
Attendees will benefit from the diversity of expertise on the panel, as the professionals provide guidance on tax structure, due diligence and optimising the sale’s efficiency.
The panel will feature experts in the field of pharmacy sales, including Paul Street, Associate Director at Hutchings Consultants, and Atif Butt FCCA, Senior Accountant of Hutchings Accountants.
Representing Ansons is commercial law expert and Director, Jamie Gill, to outline the legal process of selling a pharmacy business. He will also caution guests on potential pitfalls – and how to avoid them.
Jamie said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to take a deep dive into a highly specialist market, in partnership with experts from across the sales process.
“Pharmacy sales is a very active market, but there are a lot of legal considerations that need to be accounted for when selling a practice. It can be complex, but the right information can help business owners avoid much of the stress and make the process as efficient as possible.
“I’m proud to be representing Ansons at this event, to showcase our expertise and show business owners how we can help. The legal elements of selling a pharmacy business shouldn’t be overlooked.
“We’re here to provide straightforward advice that takes the mystery out of business sales.”
