Highly regarded young lawyer, James Leighfield has joined the Commercial Property team at Ansons Solicitors as it continues to attract new talent to meet demand from a growing client base.
Named Warwickshire Junior Lawyers Division Trainee Solicitor of the year 2016, he advises on a wide range of commercial property matters delivering practical, cost-effective legal advice with a more personal, focussed service tailored to clients’ unique needs.
Leighfield commented on his move; “The move to Ansons is the natural next step in my career. Once the management team outlined their ambitious plans for both the firm and the Commercial Property team, it was an easy decision for me to take. This is a strong team building a great reputation and it is a fantastic opportunity to show what I can do. Despite the impact Brexit is having on market conditions I expect to quickly increase my experience in this busy office.”
Director and Head of Commercial Property, Richard Saum said; “James is a great addition to our team. His enthusiasm and commitment to understanding each client’s business and commercial objectives ensures he will help us grow this team and the wider firm in the years ahead. He brings with him a reputation as one of the young lawyers to watch, with many recognising the talent and commitment he brings to every project with which he is involved.”
“James will undoubtedly help advise our current clients, but we expect his particular brand of pragmatic advice will help us secure more business from those who appreciate a different, more personal approach to their legal challenges. The firm’s growing reputation ensures talented lawyers are keen to join and I’m confident James is just the first of many who will make the step-up to Ansons in 2019.”
Operating from offices in Cannock, Lichfield and Halesowen, 2019 will be a busy year for Ansons as it expands its operations into Sutton Coldfield, with a new fully serviced office opening in Mere Green’s popular Mulberry Walk retail development later in the year.
