Five ways to ensure you are paid on time

Date: Thursday 2nd May

With ever increasing complexity in construction contracts and building projects, companies face significant challenges to ensure that they get paid on time and for the full amount.  In order to meet these challenges, Ansons LLP will be presenting a practical breakfast briefing outlining the key strategies to minimise your risk and to help you receive the monies that are owed. The presenters will outline the common pitfalls that companies face when working in this sector. The seminar is aimed at anyone working in the construction industry.

There will be two short presentations delivered by Jagdip Bains of Ansons’ Dispute Resolution team and Neil Jones of Ansons’ corporate team;

A practical guide to construction contracts covering key terms including, scope of work, variations,   completion date and liquidated damages,  payment and interim payments, dispute resolution and an overview of the key issues arising from the Construction Act
An overview of some of the key points when considering standard terms and conditions of business.
As an added bonus for those attending, Ansons will offer a discount to those companies wishing to have their contracts or their terms and conditions reviewed.

Ansons LLP are hosting the seminar over breakfast on Thursday 2nd May and we would be delighted if you could join us in what we anticipate will be an informative, practical and useful breakfast briefing.
