17 May 2016 – Employment law breakfast briefing on the living wage and holiday pay

4th May 2016

Date: Tuesday 17 May 2016

Time: 8.00am to 9.00am

Venue: Oak Farm Hotel, Watling Street, Hatherton, Cannock, Staffordshire, WS11 1SB

Our next topical briefing on employment law will focus on two specific issues relating to the payment of workers and their entitlements under new legislation:

  • Holiday pay update: how to calculate holiday pay and which elements of an employee’s salary should be included when doing so; and an employer’s potential liability for backdated holiday pay claims in light of the recent cases of Lock v British Gas and Bear Scotland.
  • The national living wage: a review of the law relating to the living wage which came into force on 1 April 2016.

Adam Pike and Martin de Ridder, employment law specialists from Ansons Solicitors will be hosting the seminar and will be available to take any questions you may have after the seminar.

This is an excellent chance to learn more about the impact of changes to employment law as well as giving you the opportunity to raise any questions yourself and get advice from our specialist legal team.

We would be delighted if you could join us in what we anticipate will be an informative, practical and useful seminar over breakfast.
