11 July – breakfast briefing on topical employment law issues

16th May 2013

Date: Thursday 11 July 2013

Time: 7.30am to 9.15am

Venue: Ansons Solicitors, Commerce House, Ridings Park, Eastern Way, Cannock, WS11 7FJ

Our next topical briefing on employment law will focus on two specific issues that often account for a great deal of management time and, if dealt with incorrectly, can lead to costly litigation.

  • Compromise agreements: what, how and when? It will provide practical advice and guidance on the use of compromise agreements as a means of concluding workplace disputes.
  • Long-term and persistent sickness absence, looking at the traps to avoid and some preventative strategies that employers can adopt.

The focus of both talks will be on highlighting the important issues and providing practical solutions to some of the potential problems that employers face on a day-to-day basis.

We would be delighted if you could join us in what we anticipate will be an informative, practical and useful seminar over breakfast.
