Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) can save the cost and time of going to court. Construction disputes can be expensive and time consuming due to the technical aspect and the necessity of having expert in the majority of cases.

If the dispute cannot be resolved though ADR we specialise in pursuing and defending claims in the Technology and Construction Court. We have successfully pursued the following cases in the High Court:

We regularly act for builders and contractors who work on residential and commercial projects on contracts valued from £5,000 to £1.5 million. We also act for individuals who have had building works carried out to their properties.

Disputes can arise for the following reasons:

  • the work is defective
  • the work has not been completed
  • disagreement with regards to variations
  • interpretation of contract terms
  • late completion of works
